Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and General Information about STLP.

1. What are the Student Technology Leadership Program's Mission and Goals?

2. Where and when do you meet?

We meet in room 407 (Mrs. Purdy's Room) for all our Student Technology Leadership Program. We do not have a set number of meetings per week. If we have a project, we find out week to week when we will meet so that we can fit everyone's schedule while still accomplishing the goal of the project.

3. Why should I join this club?

If you enjoy computers and technology, you can join STLP. There are actually no requirements to join. Computer and computer programming experience is helpful however. This club helps you use your knowledge of technology to help others, as well as learn more from those more advanced in technology than yourself.

Who should I contact for more information about this club?

To learn more about this club, you can contact Mrs Purdy at (270)852-7100. She will be able to answer your questions.

4.What are some of your annual events?

Every year, we compete in the regional conference that is held in Bowling Green, KY. Here we create Showcases and Presentations, to help teach others how technology effect our everyday lives, as well as send anyone interested in being Conference Associates, who help with important tasks to help the conference run smoothly, and Cyber Reporters, who write articles about the conferences to be posted on the STLP Website, to try and get accepted to participate in the Kentucky Teaching and Learning Conference (KTLC) held in March.

5. Does the Student Technology Leadership Program have its own site?

The Kentucky Department of Education has its own website for STLP.
