~~Coach Bo Phelan~~
He
has been coaching Cross Country 3 years and Track for
7 years. Coach Phelan took the 2001 track team to a
City County Championship, the first in 10 years as well
as the Regional Championship wich had never been accomplished
by an Apollo track team. Coach Phelan also ran for Apollo
during his high school career, and holds records still
standing today. Coach Phelan teaches English, and trains
for Triathalons on his spare time. He said, " The
2002 track team will have a promising season. I hope
to repeat our City-County and Regional Championships,
and we have the athletes to do so."

Paul Bates~
He
has been coaching for track and field for 4 years. Bates
specializes in the track's fields events. He also with
Coach Phelan took the 2001 track team to a City County
and Regional Championship. Coach Bates attended Seminole
High School in Clearwater, Florida and Kentucky Wesleyan.
He also played and coached football for Wesleyan. Bates,
not only a coach, teaches Chemistry. He said, "Our
track team should do exceptionally well, although the
field events will be young."
