Murray State offers a Commonwealth Honors Academy
(free during the summer)-if you have a 3.5 gpa, you
get 3 weeks free, plus 6 hours of credit towards
MSU.

Are you potentially a first generation college
student and have at least a 2.75 gpa? If so, you
can spend 6 weeks this summer for free and earn credit
at St. Louis University.

Xavier University has a Jump Start Program this summer.

The following are ACT dates: April 3 and June 12.
If you go out of town during Spring Break, the April
3 rd date may be a problem. Pick up a packet in the
Guidance Office window. Registration deadlines are
over a month before the test.

The following are SAT dates: March 27, May 1 and
June 5. If you took the PSAT and your scores indicate
that you may fare better on the SAT, then you may
want to take this. Most schools will accept an ACT
or SAT score. If you would like to compare your scores,
come by the guidance office.

If you ever see a school booth or military branch
in front of the guidance office during lunch, don't
hesitate to talk with them about their institution.
They are a great resource.
