Dear parents(s) or guardians(s):
In order to help parents understand what the high school
counselor's role is during your son/daughter(s) high
school years, I invite you and your son/daughter to attend
an information session. The meeting will be Tuesday.
April 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium.
Information that will be reviewed will be the student
transcript, CTBS scores, PLAN test results that all sophomores
took in October. Your son/daughter has the results from
this test and I hope that you have reviewed the career
interest inventory as well as the results.
It is never too early to start planning for your son/daughter(s)
future educational needs. In order for me to provide
student individual packets for the meeting, please call
the guidance office and leave your son/daughter(s) name
with Kristi Tong at 852-7105. If you are unable to attend
the session, you are more than welcome to make an appointment
with me to review the material.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
Remember to call ahead time and inform us if you will
attend the sophomore parent meeting on Tuesday, April
20. Please remember that beginning with the class
of 2004, no student can participate in graduation unless
all requirements have been completed.
