Prerequisite: Algebra I Prerequisite or Concurrent:
Geometry This course is open to juniors/seniors that
completed CP Biology in 10th grade and plan to attend
college. The basic requirement for this class is a “C”
or better in Integrated Science and CP Biology. Basic
chemistry concepts will be covered with an emphasis
on problem solving.

Prerequisite or Concurrent: Geometry This course is
open to all sophomores, juniors, and seniors and is
recommended for those who plan to major in science or
medicine in college. The course will provide an in-depth
study of chemistry that is designed to help the student
understand how chemical principles and concepts are
developed from observations and data.

Prerequisite or Concurrent: One year high school Algebra
I This course is open to only juniors and seniors. This
course is more adaptable to those students who plan
to pursue a technical or junior college degree. Basic
areas of study include: measurement, matter, energy,
the atom, chemical formulas, phases of matter, periodic
table, water chemistry, acids and bases, nuclear chemistry
and metals.
