This course will offer the following topics; a study
of geometric figures, inductive reasoning, triangles,
congruent and similar polygons, perpendicular and
parallel lines, circles, area, volume, and constructions.
VISUAL BASIC Accel. Semesters 2

This course is designed to teach programming methods
in a Windows environment. Students will be writing
and running their own custom application programs
in Microsoft Visual Basic. Visual Basic Programming
system allows the programmer to create attractive
and useful software applications. These applications
will be business type applications that run under
Windows NT/Windows 95/Windows 98/Windows 2000. This
course is the prerequisite to AP( Advanced Placement)
Computer Science A.

Technology Credits 1
This course provides an introduction to a variety
of computer technology topics and computer programming.
The curriculum includes an overview of the following
areas: (1) Computer Graphics, (2) Pre-Engineering,
(3) Drafting, (4) Visual Basic, (5) Web Page Development
using Front Page and (6) Computer Animation. Activities
include creating moving animation that present a message,
writing programs to run in Windows, using AutoCAD
to create drawings, introduction of Engineering practices,
and creating web pages.
