IB Math Methods
(SL) Junior year IB Semesters 2
Math Credits 1
IB Math Methods is a two year course that will cover
all the major areas of mathematics. Students will demonstrate
understanding in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability,
Statistics, and Calculus concepts. A portfolio will
be required of the students in this course. This class
is a required component of the IB diploma.
GEOMETRY Comp Semesters 2
Math Credits 1
This course offers topics such as points, lines, planes,
plane figures, area perimeter, congruence, ratio and
proportion, similarity, volume and surface area, constructions,
and measurements.
PRE-CALCULUS Accel. Semesters 2
Math Credits 1
A study of analytic geometry, functions, their inverses,
graphs and their applications, circular and trigonometry
functions, conic sections, logarithmic functions and
probability.
ALGEBRA II Accel. Semesters 2
Math Credits 1
This course will offer the following topics; complex
numbers, matrices, quadratic equations and inequalities,
graphs of functions and relations, exponential and logarithmic
functions, binomial theorem.
