When good bunnies go bad
By: Cesley Hamilton

Whenever Easter comes around, what do people think of? Chocolate eggs, plastic grass, the Easter Bunny, dyed eggs, the Resurection of Christ, and little white rabbits hopping around all over the place, perhaps? Why is that?
Yes I understand why someone would think of the Resurection of Christ, it happened on Easter! Also, the chocolate eggs are just one of the many gifts that the Easter Bunny may leave in a child's plastic grass- filled Easter basket.
On Easter most kids look forward to hunting dyed eggs, candy filled eggs, or money filled eggs in the yards of their favorite relatives, but why do people think of cute little bunnies? If anyone reading this article has ever owned a rabbit then it's obvious that they aren't cute or innocent at all. If not, read the comic For Better, For Worse and you'll understand.
These so-called cute balls of fluff grow up and chew on anything and everything they can get their paws on. Let one of these things loose and they'll head straight for the electric cables. After a short amount of time, this cute little bunny's owner will experience, for more than likely the first time, the brave life of the Amish.
This person will soon be stumbling through the dark kitchen. They will be reaching desperately for chairs, counters, whatever they can find, in order to find their stash of flashlights, oil lamps and extra oil, candles and matches so as to light up their world again. Once the flashlight has been found, the owner will turn it on and the first thing they will see will be... an evil rabbit! They'll see the wet, pink nose, then the impurely white ears standing erect like a set of antennas awaiting the signal from the lead rabbit to strike furiously. The owner will grab the rabbit by the ears and shove it into it's cage, thanking the fact that that little vermon can't get out again.
Also, if there any hunters reading this article then that person is aware of the hazards of rabbits. First off, wild rabbits more-than-likely have rabies. One bite from those foam- mouthed, buck toothed vermins and the victim could eventually be foaming from the mouth as well. Eek!!! Don't let that person around your children!
We think of these rabbits at Easter, right? Well they should be thought of at Halloween! This holiday seems a little bit more appropriate for such a creature. Consider this list of details about these animals and make your own conclusion about these so-called balls of fluff!
