Senior Week is Almost Here

By: Amanda Fantini
reporter

As everyone knows, Senior Week's fast approaching. Seniors are looking forward to the awards, the breakfast and lunch, Atlantis, and everything else that comes with being a Senior. For this last six weeks, Senioritis has really kicked in. We seniors are putting off homework till the period before it’s due, projects are being postponed, and don’t even think about studying for the next test. The whole class of 2004 is now one big group of procrastination. As dreams of graduation and college circle our heads, one question comes to mind: when in the world are the Senior activities?

May 21st, 2004: The day that all Seniors have been looking forward to since they entered the Daviess County Public School System. Another mandatroy practice at the SportsCenter is scheduled from 9am until all the kinks are worked out. The Graduation Ceremony starts at 6:30pm, but Seniors have to be back at the SportsCenter by 5:45pm. It's suggested that your family arrive no later than 5:30pm for a good seat. After Graduation, Project Graduation starts at 10pm and lasts until 2am in the Apollo Gym. Seniors are allowed to bring one guest, and there will be prizes and entertainment, such as sumo wrestling, gambling with play money, and 3-on-3 basketball.

To the rest of the the class of 2004: Congratulations on making it through school successfully and good luck!
