By: Jessica Coomes
News Editor

As the year comes to a close, the last few of the traditional Senior Sweet Sixteen are chosen. The next two seniors chosen for the senior sweet sixteen are: Becca Griffin and Brett Booker.

During her four years at Apollo, Becca has been involved in: National Honor Society, Spirit Club, Prom Comittee, Student Council (secretary), National Spanish Honor Society, Cheerleading (captian 10th and 12th grades), Beta Club, L2K, and Co-ed Y.

Outside of Apollo, Becca is involved in Cheer Zone All-Stars, Pop Warner Cheerleading Coach, and the Settle Memorial Youth Groups.

Her hobbies include: cheering, traveling, and spending time with her friends. Becca worked this summer at Settle Memorial Methodist Church. After graduation, she plans on attending University of Kentucky and majoring in Spanish International Relations.

When asked what she will miss most about Apollo, Becca replied, "going crazy at all the football and basketball games, traveling all the time with Cheer Zone, breaking clocks with Ryan, Nick, and Blake, Apollo's dances, spirit weeks, and pep rallies, trips to El Toribio with Shelly, Emily, Natalie, and Candice, and cheering for four years with my senior girls: Jamie, Laura, Jordan, and Lynsie.

At Apollo, Brett is involved in Student Council (representative), Beta Club, and clock-keeper for JV and freshman Basketball teams.

Brett's hobbies include: watching NASCAR races and University of Kentucky games, working on the family's racecar, watching his brother race at Windy Hollow from May to November, and spending time with his friends and his girlfriend Holly.

After graduation, Brett plans on attending Brescia University and majoring in secondary education in math or history, and then return to Apollo to teach.

When asked what he will miss the most about Apollo, Brett replied, "the late nights in the Athletic Office with Mr. B closing down the gym after the home games, prom 2003, all of the ladies in the guidance office, and algebra II in Mr. B's class with Brandi and Nick.
