As the yearly tradition continues, two more

The second set of seniors named are Landon Basham and
Megan Purdy.
Landon is a member of the Academic Team, Beta Club, Spanish

Outside of school, Landon is involved in Academy of Young

Landon enjoys playing guitar, drawing, watching movies,
and playing basketball with the guys.
After graduation, he plans on attending the University
of Kentucky and pursue a double major in Architecture
or Design and Spanish.
When asked what he will miss the most about Apollo, Landon
replied, "The many trips and long hours with Mr.
Wooley and the gang, the eventful days on the baseball
field, spicy chicken thursdays, the much needed motivational
speeches and advice from Mike, "Guys Gone Wild"
at Pennyrile Meets, the many dances with all of my friends,
FCA scavenger hunts, Family Fright Night with NHS, and
vthe numerous acquaintances and close friends I have made
with the teachers who have been there for me whenever
I needed them the most.
Megan is a member of NHS, Beta Club, E-Gal golf team (9th
and 10th grade), STLP (president), and Young Republicans.
Outside of school Megan is a Sunday school teacher at
Settle Memorial United Methodist Church, and involved
in Presidential Classroom-National Security in a Democracy
Week.
Megan's hobbies include reading, swimming, and computers.
She works in the nursery at Settle Memorial Church and
babysits.
After graduation, Megan plans on attending the University
of Southern Indiana and majoring in biology.
When asked what she will remember most about Apollo, Megan
replied by saying, "All of the STLP trips, especially
to the Kentucky State Fair and Dallas, Texas, being Ms.
Jones' student helper for four years, reading the Washington
Post on blue day mornings for government, all of my friends
here at Apollo High School, and last being with here with
my mom and being a part of the Eagle Family.
