Casey's Rides comes to town
by Melissa Roberts - Photography Editor

The front parking lot of Towne Square Mall held Casey’s Rides carnival from March 17 through the 27th. There you can find many groovy rides, such as the Gravitron, ummy snacks and fun games where you can win prizes.

During the week, the carnival begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 10:00pm. Braclets that cost $12 allow you to ride all of the rides as many times as you want for an entire day. Tickets are also available for those who only want to ride a few rides.

Those who have been waiting for the carnival were finally relieved to have it. Senior Brittany Roberts says “The anticipation has been building for months. I will be there everyday!”

Some of the rides that were at the carnival include, the Pirate Ship, the Gravitron, the Tilt-a-Whirl, the Quasar, the Superman and the Scrambler.
Usually, there isn’t much to do in our town of Owensboro, so when a carnival comes to town, most people get very exited. “I can't contain myself. I want to ride the scrambler!" says Brittany Roberts.

Don't get too upset if you miss the mall carnival, there will always be another carnival later in the year.
