The Principle of the thing
The sparkling waters of neighborhood swimming pools will be full of children and adults as soon as the summer kicks into full swing. There's certainly nothing more relaxing than to go for a nice swim after an exhausting day at work. Even if it is only for a brief spell, it sure feels refreshing.
Or how about sippin on a nice icy purchased at one of the local vendors who are strategically placed throughout our city. My favorite flavor is grape. Yep! Just plain old grape will do. I don't care much for the bubble gum flavor or any of those "new generation flavors" my two children and wife love.
As the dweltering heat of the impending summer begins to make its presence felt day in and day out, just think back thatit was not too long ago that our roads were covered with sheets of snow and ice. Have fun and continueto make those prudent choices throughout the summer months.
To the graduating class of 2004, good luck in all you choose to do. Sitting here at lunch with Travis "the weak one" Johnson and Richard "Bubba" Long, listening to their rather young adult conversations. Boy, a college will be lucky or is that unlucky to have one of them as a student. I can't imagine the small college having the nerve to offer both a scholarship. Just kiddin'! I am sure Travis and Richard, as well as their classmates will be successful in their future endeavors. Life is full of uncertainties, so be prepared for what may or may not be lurking ahead.
Everyone have a Fantabulous summer!
