Apollo students in military
by: Melissa Roberts

Past Apollo students have made a patriotic
decision to join in our nation's Armed Forces. Some of
these students participated in the school's ROTC program.
Others decided to help our country in its
time of need. Most of the students graduated last year
but a few of them graduated in 2002 and have already served
in Iraq.
The following students went into the Army:
Matthew Turull, Dustin Vint, and Josh Layson.
The following students joined the Marines:
Kevin Payne, Rick Ceballos, Greg Rowan, Jonathon Mattingly,
and Jerrith Hodskins.
Megan Reynolds has made the decision to
join the Navy this fall.
Jonothon Bell decided to serve in the Air
Force.
Just because you have not been involved
in ROTC program does not mean you cannot have a future
in the military.
Others that are interested in joining a
branch of the military are encouraged to find out more
information from a recruiting office. There the recruiters
can inform you of how to sign up and what being in the
military will mean for you.
These former students of Apollo High School
are making us proud by serving in the military.
Let's all hope that all of these people
stay safe, as they will always be part of the Eagle Family.
