Dear Faculty, Staff and Students
I just wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Spirit Week a success. On Friday, we had only collected $532.00 by the end of the day we had collected $1200 , after the ball game on Friday night we have a total of $2000.00 app. This money will help many children in South Asia . It will take many years for that part of the world to recover, so again Thank you for helping. If you did not get a chance to contribute and would still like to do so just drop off your donation to myself or Mrs. Cecil in the next few days
After counting the letters to soldiers we have about 300 plus, I was amazed at some of the things that were placed in the box, a New Testament with passages marked and highlighted. Several bead bracelets with the word "hero" and valentine cards. I want to thank all of you who participated and if you did not get your card or letter in, we will not be mailing until the first of next week. There is still a collection box in the front office . I know the soldiers of Walter Reed will be very appreciative of the kind words and thoughts.
Apollo has a tradition of caring and that is what is the best part of being a member of the Eagle Family.
