Mr. Johnson has been working at Apollo High School for about eight years. Half of the time he taught social studies, but now he works in the guidance office. He attended the University of Kentucky for undergraduate work. He got married during the summer of 2004. The rest of his family consists of two great parents and four brothers and sisters.

What actually got Mr. Johnson started in a teaching career. He replied, “I had a desire to help people and to serve. I wanted to be involved in helping people improve their quality of life. Also, I enjoy working with young people, because it somewhat keeps me young.” His life outside of school consists mainly of Apollo Basketball. He also enjoys visiting with friends and engaging in healthy competition. He likes all sports, especially attending ‘excruciating’ aerobic classes taught by Jan Young.
