Mrs. Ashby
Mrs. Ashby has been teaching at Apollo for
five years, and eleven years total. She graduated from WKU to earn her teachers
certificate. She and her husband Pete,a pilot, have one daughter who is two years old and are expecting another child by the end of 2004.
But what actually got Mrs. Ashby on her
journey of becoming a teacher? She says, it was that both
of her parents were teachers. As she grew up she believed
that teaching was honorable, challenging, and rewarding.
Mrs. Ashby has a TON of things that she does outside of
school. Some of these things are reading, traveling, cooking,
eating out, hiking, yoga, and flying places with her husband.
