I have signed up to take the ACT or SAT this year.
I have gone on line and scheduled classes for my senior year.
I am looking at all possible options after high school such as military, employment, two-year colleges, four year college.

Maybe you do not have a clue what your future interests are!!!!!! On March 16 (which is a CAP group time) I am giving the CAP teachers an inventory for you to take. Please read the directions and take it seriously because I am going to use the results at a later date.

THERE WILL BE AN ACT MATH WORKSHOP FOR JUNIORS ONLY---MS. SAUNDRA JONES WILL PRESENT A 45-MINUTE WORKSHOP COVERING GEOMETRY. IT IS TO PREPARE YOU FOR THE ACT OR SAT. YOU MUST SIGN UP IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE AND SPACE IS LIMITED TO 30. THE WORKSHOP WILL BE IN ROOM 316 ON MONDAY, MARCH 14TH ---SO SIGN UP BECAUSE IT IS FREE.A THANK YOU TO MS. JONES IS ALL THAT IS NECESSARY.

ACT WORKSHOP ON HOW TO FILL OUT THE FORM -THIS WILL BE ON TUESDAY, MARCH 15. IT WILL BEGIN 1 ST PERIOD AND LAST 45 MINUTES. MEET ME IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.

A career exploration workshop-I will give you some websites to visit to do further career search, but during this 30 minute session, I will give you some short career interests inventories. This is a great way to find out your potential areas of interest.

This will be Thursday, March 17th . Sign up in the guidance office.

Georgetown College will have a two-week program in computer science, math, and natural sciences. This will be June 19- July 1 and the cost is $700. This covers food and your room costs as well. If interested, you can email them at paems@georgetowncollege.edu to request an application.

So some important dates to remember-

Monday, March 14th a workshop that covers Geometry (beginning of 4 th )
Tuesday, March 15th a workshop that explains the ACT/SAT
Thursday, March 17th , a career interest workshop
