Scholarships
92. Charles "Chucky" Jones Memorial Scholarship-$1,000 to an Apollo student-athlete.
93. Murray State University 's Future Educators of America-Summer workshop on campus that is free.
94. Classical Music Poetry Contest-1 st place is $200
95. Daviess County Bar Association-$1,500 to a student in our county, with a 500 word writing sample.
96. Owensboro Business and Professional Women's Scholarship-a female in our area will receive this award.
97. Marine Corps League Scholarship-did your parent/step-parent/or grandparent serve in the Marines, then you are eligible. Applications are due in by April 13 th .
98. Scholarship Day at Ellis Park, Sunday August 7. $1,000 will be given away after each of the nine races and you just have to register there to win. This is a drawing.
Other Information
- There is one large senior t-shirt for sale. If you are interested, see me. First one here gets it.
- If you are interested in singing or signing during graduation, you have to sign up on my door before April 20 th .
- Graduation has been set for May 17 th , at 7:30 at the Sportscenter.
- Senior Finals are May 10 th and 11 th if you are required to take them.
- If you have not turned in your John B. and Brownie Young Scholarship, this is due on Thursday, March 24.
