Dear Seniors,

I remember hearing some of you say that the end of the year would never come and now I hear some of you say, where in the world has the year gone? Can you believe that you will be graduating in about two months? We will hit Spring Break (March 25-April 3), CATS Testing (April 18-April 29), Prom (May 7), and all of the graduation activities to follow.

•  There are two ACT dates left this year-April 9 and June 11 (only the April 9 will count towards your KEES bonus award)

•  Make sure that you have filed your FAFSA prior to March 15-if you miss this date, you are still eligible to file, but are not eligible for certain state funds. You and your parents have to have your taxes prepared before filing and it is best if you file this on-line. If you need help with this, let me know and I can direct you to the proper assistance.

•  Remember that you are not eligible to participate in graduation activities including the ceremony if you have not passed all of your required classes and accumulated the correct number of credits.

•  If you qualified for the John B and Brownie Young Scholarship, remember that this is due before March 24th . Turn this in to Ms. Tong or myself.

•  If you have received a scholarship offer from a school or private organization, bring me a copy of this so that you can be recognized on the announcements and listed in program on Awards Night (May 10). We would like to know any offer that you have even if you are not going to accept it.
