Over the years, Apollo has had several renovations. Starting out as a small building with two circles, we now have four circles, plus a large addition to the back of the school, where our gymnasium is located.

Years ago, a rival or two took paint and a sledgehammer to our beloved eagle mascot, which used to be placed in the front of our school. It was later moved into the main hallway.

Our Dome was built in the summer of 1987. This was only one renovation of 1987. Along with the dome, we also received our gymnasium, several more classrooms, a new location for the library and office, and an auditorium.

Almost thirteen years after the dome was built, the Y2K tornado struck and left it with severe damage. The library, gym, auditorium, and many classrooms were damaged. During the summer of 2000, Apollo received many changes in the layouts of classrooms, plus another addition to the back of the school building.

The map below is a floor plan of the school before it's renovation in 1987. This map can be found hanging on the wall in the commons area across from the teacher's lounge.
