THREE DIMENSIONAL DESIGN 2

Students will discover the elements of art and design
and their application in sculpture and three-dimensional
design and aesthetics. This class will work with a
variety of materials in a progression of assignments
which will provide the student with hands-on problem
solving. This course is open to all grade levels and
is recommended for beginning students in art and required
before the advanced levels of art classes. This class
will also serve as a prerequisite for Advanced Art
(IB).

Students will study the elements and principles of
art and their application in two and three-dimensional
design/aesthetics, with an emphasis on Art History.
This class will work with a variety of materials in
a progression of assignments, which will provide the
student with hands-on problem solving in working toward
the international baccalaureate program. Each student
is required to keep a research workbook as partial
fulfillment of course requirements. This course is
open to 11-12 grade levels.
Advanced Three-Dimensional Design 2 Semester(s) 1
Credit(s)
Prerequisite – Three-Dimensional Design Students
will continue application of basic skills learned
in Three-Dimensional Design. They will apply the fundamental
elements and principles of art and design to more
advanced problems in sculpture and three-dimensional
design in a variety of materials. This course is open
to 10-12 grade levels. This course may be repeated
for credit with the permission of the instructor.
