English 10 Honors
This class, the second phase of the advanced program, is open to sophomores by teacher recommendation. Areas of English which will be covered include grammar, composition, vocabulary, and an intensive and analytical approach to world literature. This course is a prerequisite for entrance into IB Language A1.

English 9 accel.
This class is designed for freshmen who plan to attend college or vocational school or to enter the world of work following graduation. Emphasis will be placed on grammar usage, vocabulary building, literature, speech and composition. In addition, time will be spent learning practical skills of everyday living and the world of work.

Fine Arts accel.
This course is an interdisciplinary survey of the beliefs, thoughts, values, traditions, and customs of humankind as reflected in history, art, literature, language, and folklore. Note: The Arts & Humanities Core Content Guidelines will be emphasized.
