Well, MTV did it again! First the Real World, now it’s Laguna Beach. millions of Laguna fans watched the uninterrupted finaleTuesday, December 7th. So how did this show become such a hit?

Well, it’s a true story of juniors and seniors in high school. These students were followed by cameras the last 6 months of school. Unlike the Real World, they didn’t have a confession booth, they had one narrator. So to put it blunty, they acted as if the cameras weren’t even there. That could be one reason people adore this show so much.
The main reason this show was closely watched was mainly because of the infamous “love triangle” between Stephen, Lauren(L/C), and Kristin. It was a back and forth deal between Kristin and Lauren with Stephen picking one or the other. Not to mention th e “hatred” between Lauren and Kristin.

That brought up a lot of questions among fans. As far as we now, they got inot a fight before the show was taped.

Along with the “love triangle” came many other dramas. “What happens in Cabo...” was by far one of the craziest episodes. While Kristin tells Stephen where to go, he yet again finds comfort from Lauren. Also the drama from Lauren’s friend Lo and her other friends Morgan and Christina when they didn’t invite Lauren and Lo to Christina’s 18th birthday party. What a crazy drama! And you think we have drama?

Well, as the group says good-bye to the incoherent “bubble” of Laguna, they all realize that everybody will be diifferent when they go off to college. The suprise finale is when Stephen picks up Lauren in San Fransico at the airport. Everybody was suprised. But the biggest news for all the Laguna fans..there’s going to be a season 2 with Kristin calling the shots. So stayed tuned!
