Challenger

Ed has been a member of the Academic Team for 4 years. He is also the president of FBLA, STLP, the Young Democrats Club, and is the head student technichian at the Help Desk. Outside of school, he’s a member of a jazz band named Hipnotic. Ed currently works as a computer technician and enjoys an occasional LAN party. He’s going to Murray State after high school, to major in computer information systems.

What Ed will remember most about Apollo: “Hanging out with Mr. Woolley, spending time with all the FBLA officers at Leadership Camp, working with Mr. Crady and Mrs. Purdy on math lab, and being Clarence in It’s a Wonderful Life as well as all the other fun times he had as a Blue HousePlayer.

Sheriese has been in the Academic Team in 10th and 11th grade. She is a member of FCA, Beta Club, ROTC in 9th grade, the and photography editor for the yearbook in 10th grade, and she is the secretary for NHS. Outside of school, Sheriese has been involved in the Owensboro City Youth Council for the last 2 school years. She enjoys singing, laughing, and hanging out with friends, and currently makes a little extra cash by working at the Dairy Queen.

Sheriese is planning to attend Spelman University or Middle Tennessee State University and major in Sociology, then attend law school afterward. When asked what she will remember about AHS, she says: “The great times with the ladies of 2005: Paris, Erica, Quincy, and Diva; the snowflake discussions in Mr. Miller’s Sociology class; and the numerous moments with my friends, Paris included.”
