The Island of Misfit Toys Part 2
By: Cesley Hamilton
Assoc. News Editor

As some of you may recall, in last year’s December edition of the Challenger, there was an article entitled Island of Misfit Toys.

In the story, the evil Santa accidentally backs himself over the ledge of an iceberg. We all believed that the penguins and misfit toys were safe from the evil Santa and his toy factory... but we were wrong.

In the previous part of our story we heard about the mob of angry penguins that was surrounding Evil Santa. Well, it turns out they weren’t all that evil or angry after all. A few of them were in the Martha Stewart-mobile. All of the figurines of Martha from the Evil Santa’s toy factory were welded together into a boatlike machine that has a remarkable resemblence to Martha Stewart, right down to having a computer linked straight to the stock market.

They made a fast getaway, heading straight to the toy factory. When the Evil Santa arrived he shouted, “Get back to work you lazy scalawags. We’ve got to get all of these Micheal Jackson figurines activated and ready to put in little boys’ stockings all over the world.” Then he let out an evil cackle that put even witches to shame.

Back with the misfits, Yukon, and Bumble the abominable snowman, news had just been released about the Evil Santa’s escape. The toys were terrified. They were running around frantically, packing all of their belongings and preparing to leave their homes. “Where are you all planning to go?” asked Yukon, “If anything, we all need to stick together through this situation. Get ready, everyone. We’re going to the toy factory to stop him at last.”

Once they arrived, the Evil Santa was waiting for them. “ATTACK.” was the only thing to be heard, then the evil toys came charging. There were evil dolls, soldiers, jack-in-the-boxes, Micheal Jackson figurines, and teddy bears. The misfits fought and succeeded.
Yukon went after the Evil Santa Clause. He found him in the back room, surrounded by an army of Micheal Jackson figures. “Get him!” Evil Santa yelled.

So they’re voice activated. Yukon thought to himself. “Stop.” he shouted in return, “Attack him.” he shouted as he pointed at the evil Santa Clause. Suddenly they all stopped in their tracks and turned towards the Evil Santa. They chased him out the door and over a cliff, which was the same one as before, and everyone made sure he wasn’t coming back. All of the toys and their friends and families celebrated being free at last.
