Love doesn’t come easy, it takes work
by: Kendall Grider
Entertainment Editor

“The course of true love never did run smooth”. This quote from A Mid summer Night’s Dream is by far the answer to many of love’s questions. It definitely answered quite a few questions in my own life.

I’m going to start off by saying that love comes in all ages. Just because we are teenagers doesn’t mean some of us don’t know what love is. I will take into consideration that most school relationships lasts two weeks with most of it being a physical attraction, but some of us seem to break through that stereotype and actually have a real, loving relationship. Like I said, only a few of us actually do have that. True love always lasts no matter what. Love does come in all ages, whether you are 5, 15, or 75 years old you can still know what love is.

Once you have that love, it’s hard to let it go. If you are truly in love, you can never fall out of it. But you should always remember the first rule of love is to listen. Communication is a must to keep a relationship alive. Always try to work things out. Talk about your problems rather than burrying them because they will resurface later on.
I’ve learned that even when your heart sees one thing, your eyes see another. It can be difficult to keep the relationship going, but if you love that person, it will work out. Patience is a vitue. You must be patient to whatever is going on. It may seem crazy, but just relax and don’t let your problems interfere with your relationship. It sure helps my relationship.

If life were easy, love would be simple. Take time to figure what you want in life and then go with it from there. If you want a relationship, or if you want single life, then go for it.
I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year now, and I’m not saying it’s the easiest thing, but it’s all worth it to me. It may be difficult to find true love, but when you find it, it can be the most rewarding or the most painful experience in the world. The course of true love never will run smooth, but it can work out if you really want it to.
