PROM DRESSES come in every size and style imaginable. Finding the perfect dress is not as easy as it looks. Ordering dresses from the internet may save you money but it is not guaranteed that the dress will fit the way you want it to. Going directly to businesses that distributes dresses is your best bet. Elizabeth’s is the greatest place to shop this prom season!
Elizabeth’s offers top quality dresses and if you know what you’re looking for but can’t find it, chances are they can order it for you. The staff is friendly and will assist you with all your needs. Even if you don’t plan on buying a dress from Elizabeth’s or you have already purchased one elsewhere, I encourage you to buy your accessories from this fine establishment. You will feel comfortable and respected if you choose to become a customer.
Unlike the excellent service that you will recieve at Elizabeth’s, Abbington’s is not interested in it’s potential customers. You can find this out simply by asking around. You’re bound to find some horror story. And if I not, I have one of my own and a few I’ve heard from others.
My experience with the staff , manager, and store owner were outrageous! One Friday afternoon I decided to begin my search for the perfect dress. I wanted a white dress so wedding apparel was on the top of my list. I went to Elizabeth’s first and found a beautiful informal wedding dress but I wanted to be sure that it was the one. So I went down the road and across the street to Abbington’s. I was with my Mom and little sister. We’d never been in the store before so we were all completlty unfamiliar with the surroundings. We were in the store about five minutes before anyone asked if we needed help. I thought it was very unprofessional but gave them the benefit of the doubt even though I was fully aware that there weren’t many customers in the store. After the rude sales person finally asked what we were looking for (a stupid question to ask when the entire store is FULL of dresses) I told her I needed a white dress for prom. She became impatient. She said that all prom wear was located upstairs. She repeated this about five times but wasn’t even curtious enough to direct us to the second floor. The woman never addresed me as Miss or Ma’am. She also had the audacity to call my mother a GIRL. To top off the terrible incident, the store owner yelled at us as we exited the store.
My advice to anyone in serach of prom wear is to aviod Abbington’s. You might find a dress but it’s the customer care that will keep a business at its best.
