Childhood memories

‘The Polar Express’ just takes me and maybe some other Apollo High School students back to when they were little kids. The books that we read, the songs we sang, and the games we played. Everything brings back memories now.
I certainly remember ‘The Polar Express’, do you?
Read to my elementary class every year near the holiday Christmas season. It was one of my favorites. Well, now the new generation of elementary school kids have a new outlook on this book. It’s not even a book anymore, but something more, something that is beyond imagination. It’s a new movie hitting the theatres.
This movie spent more on graphics than any other movie has in the past. The most expensive, digitally made movie ever made. Just think of ‘Toy Story’ times 2.
The greatest story on earth is about when a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.
Through-out the movie you will learn that one of the main characters are kept alive by the voice of Tom Hanks. 5 characters are given his heart. you can also see a little bit of him in every character thanks to the magic of computers.
All I can say is that i am freggin’ jealous of that boy but, to the rest of ya’ll, this holiday season....BELIEVE!
