It is a well known fact that in Owensboro, on the week of Christmas, everyone goes temporarily insane. Anything you say or do can not be used against you on Christmas Eve. Lucky for you, we have some tips for you so that you will be able to get all of your Shopping finished an in time for you to enjoy your holiday season.
* Walmart at midnight! It may sound crazy, but it’s nearly deserted that late at night. * Don’t go shopping on weekends. Take the initiative to get your homework done and get to shopping.
*Plan for who you want to buy for and how much money you want to spend on them.
*Sales. Check the newspapers for clearance sales and/or coupons.
*Don’t go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone thinks that this day is the most opportune but ends up being the worst.
These tips may be few but they can save you lots of time and money! Don’t forget, while you’re doing all of your Christmas shopping, that ALL girls LOVE to get presents.
The Challenger staff hopes that the students, teachers, and staff have a wonderful Thanksgiving and have fun shopping and finding the sales.
