Students meet to learn about spanish culture
by Alex Headley
Buisness & Exchange

Members of the Spanish National Honor Society congregated for some authentic Mexican “comida” at El Toribio. The students were only allowed to speak spanish to practice their pronunciation.

While munching on chips and salsa, the students nominated and elected the following club officers.

President-Beth Ewing
Vice President-Ian Wilkey
Secretary-Jordan Perry
Public Relations-Carrie Gentry
Historian-Alex Headley

The Spanish Honor Society plans on getting involved in a lot of hispanic cultural activities. On November 11th, the club will set up a food drive for Central Latino. The club may adopt a Latino family for Christmas. The group also plans on entering articles in the new local Latio newspaper La Vereda. If you have any questions then contact Senora Robinson.
