Senior Natalie Hardesty and junior James Williams were selected out of all the fall sports athletes as two that stood out among the rest.

These two Apollo students were chosen for there outstand Athletic ability. James Williams for his abilities on the football feild and Natalie Hardesty for her abilities on the Volleyball court.

Thes two students were not chosen at random aout of a hat or anything it took much diliberation. There are many athlete's that were good enough but these two stood out tall above the rest. Natalie and James both exzibited a lot of team work and they are very hard working athletes.

Hardesty, a senior volleyball player for Apollo, has been dominant all season for the E-gals in several ways. Since her sophomore year, she has been a vital part of the team as a front row hitter and defensive player. She had a season-best 20 kills against Daviess County earlier in the season, and also has had several serving aces. Hardesty was selected to the all-tournament team for the Los Amigos Summer Slamdown tournament and the Bowling Green volleyball tournament.

Hardesty has been a member of Apollo's basketball team since her freshman year and contributes hugely to the team as a starting forward. Hardesty is also an avid softball player and is a member of the E-gals softball team.

Hardesty is a devoted, hard-working athlete and is a leader on the court at all times. She is the captain of the volleyball and basketball teams.

Hardesty has had several key performances on the volleyball court this season, including having 8 kills against Owensboro High School.

There's no doubt Natalie is a gifted athlete and her dedication and talent will hopefully allow her to reach her ultimate goals!

This football season everyon knew that he was going to be a force and a presents on th football feild. Junior James Williams had made abig difference in this years football season.
With his huge threat on the grond and his kick off returning he has become Apollo's very own X-factor.

This year alone James Broke the kick off return record witch was held by his older brother.

James has also rushed for over 400 yards this season and caught several passes for over 100 yards. He has scored 11 touchdowns which leads his team including some kick off return Touchdowns.

James is a hard working and devoted athlete's who is looking to support his team above himself. To an observer James would looking like a stand out player and he is, but he is also Devoted to his school and team.

There is no doubt that James Williams Deserved this months Athlete of the issue.
