Change in dance schedule

As many changes are made through out the years, the student council took a new approach to the dances for the 2004-2005 school year.

Instead of having a fall homecoming and a winter homecoming, they will be combined into one big dance in the middle of the year.

It hasn't been decided as to when or what theme this mid-year dance will have, but the student council and a survey of students have concluded that this is the best way to go. Most said that the scheduled fall homecoming was too close to the sadie hawkins (a mere two weeks after), and the lack of home football games didn't give any more choices to arrange one. The council hated to spend the money on a dance that no one wanted to go to, and students agreed that having a mid-year dance was a better idea.

Although the homecoming dance was discarded for the year, there was still a homecoming court and game during both the football and the basketball seasons.
