Wow! Here we are! The 2004-2005 school year is well underway. I trust that each of you have settled in and are ready to give best effort in all that you do. Remember, there will be good days and not so good days. Just make sure that you experience far more good ones.

Our fall co-curricular teams have begun their seasons. Please take time to go out and support our soccer teams, golf teams, volleyball teams, football teams, marching band, Eaglettes, ROTC drill and orienteering teams, cheerleaders, academic teams, and cross country teams. These young men and women are working very hard each day in order to represent Apollo High School in the grandest fashion.
Seniors, at the time of this correspondence, it is only August. Believe me when I say that it will only seem like the blink of an eye and you will be walking down that graduation aisle in May. Let’s make sure that each of you will be in that line. Maintain those credits and be good leaders for our underclassmen. It was only a short time ago that you were underclassmen.

To our underclassmen! Your time will come, so please make sure that you have your house in order so that your senior year will be as successful and meaningful as it can be.
I’ll certainly see each of you around throughout the school day and at our various activities. Hey, if you see me out, don’t hesitate to say hello. I won’t bite!
