Solution:
1. Ask at Minimum three other Laptop holding students if they know the solution to your specific concern.
2. Ask your current classroom teacher. DON'T disturb another class.
3. Ask Help Desk at AHS and E-team at DCHS.
4. Ask Ms. Gaddis at DCHS.
5. Ask Brian Benjamin at DCHS.


Problem:
My Internet won't load pages?

Solution:
1. Restart the Laptop
2. Run Lavasoft Adaware
3. Refer to help during school hours, (solution above) here.


Problem:
How do I Prevent Sypware during Internet use?

Solution:
1.Refer to the Student Laptop User Guide

 


Problem:
Can I Download anything onto my Laptop?

Solution:
1. Refer to the Student Laptop User Guide
2. If in question ask teacher if it is acceptable before you download it.


Problem:
Won't log in to network.

Solution:
1. Make sure that the password is correct.
2. Restart the Laptop.

Solution:

My Screen isn't right-side up?

Solution:

1. Hold down Control and Alternate "CTRL and ALT" buttons then use the arrow keys to fix the problem.


Problem:
Battery won't charge?

Solution:
1. Turn off the Laptop.
2. Remove the Battery
3. Open the Laptop, with the battery out, and press the power button several times
4. Put the battery back In and turn on the Laptop.
5. Plug in the Charger and see if the battery charges.


Problem:
Why can't my battery last 5.4 hours as it should?

Solution:
