Apollo teachers receive ‘Excellence in Teaching’ Awards

Laura Conkright was honored in the high school category. “My greatest rewards are  being a part of a child’s life ... seeing their self-confidence rise because they are doing well in your class ... students relating to you that they now really like math ... and meeting up with a former student and hearing how successful they are in their life, knowing you were a small part of that.”
