BY ROYAL PROCLAMATION OF THE QUEEN

Hear ye, hear ye loyal citizens of Apollo’s Senior English Realm!

The Queen has hereby commanded that her students will select a topic of their choice about the Middle Ages for this WebQuest.

The Queen has asked that her loyal subjects select an area that they have a genuine interest in and that they will enjoy learning more about.

The Queen has suggested the following topics:

CASTLES

KNIGHTS

THE BLACK DEATH

KING ARTHUR

Before researching (but after choosing a topic), write a page about the author (yourself) in relation to the topic. Click here to learn more about this first stage.

Be sure to take notes while researching.  It’s best (and easiest) to use note cards.  That way you can write the bibliography information on one side and your notes on the other.  This also makes organizing much easier later.

After you’ve completed your research you will write compose a five page research paper.  Click here to find tips and guidelines for composing this research paper.

The  first page will be your “author information” (see above).  The written text of your research paper must be at least two pages; you will include at least one page of pictures/art/architecture/etc.; finally, you will include one page that will be devoted to a bibliography (where you will be sure to site your sources correctly).

You will share your expertise with the class (and hand your paper in) on: September 29th, 2005.
