A Benefit in David Murphy's honor was held at O'bryan's Bar & Grill on April 9th, 2005 to help raise money for medical costs due to pancreatic cancer. Together a total amount of $27,000 was raised from a silent auction, a live auction, and many, many generous donations. Over 2,000 family and friends were there to support David and his family through this hard time. David passed away on May 9th, 2005 of pancreatic cancer. He is loved, always in our thoughts and prayers, and will forever be missed.
