Peter Pevensie

Peter is the eldest of the Pevensie children and, as such, he took upon himself the responsibility of his three younger siblings. He is often strict when it comes to his siblings, especially his younger brother Edmund, but really, it is just the concern that he has for them.

At first, when Peter learns of his destiny in Narnia (to help win the war against the White Witch), he does not wish to take part in it. But his atti-

tude soon changes and he gains more confidence in himself. With his new found strength, Peter's bravery grows and he takes his place at the lead, guiding the armies into battle.

Peter was given a sword and shield, his weapons for battle, and when his coronation came about, he was named King Peter the Magnificent.
