Dear Parents,
We want to let you know what is happening with the Eagles Basketball Youth League. We have been planning and organizing since late July and things are coming together. First let us share some goals, objectives, and visions of what is going to take place with your child. They are:
- To focus on FUNDAMENTALS
- To introduce TEAM CONCEPTS
- To play COMPETIVELY
We will be practicing (3 group's of boys) on Monday and Thursday evenings for 1 hour at Tamarack- please enter the rear of the building. We also will be using Burns Elementary (girls, 2 groups) on Tuesday and Thursday for 1 hour, please enter the front door. You will be assigned a time between 5:30 and 7:30. (See below).
Mondays (boys) and Tuesdays (girls) will be for individual instruction, ball handling, footwork, passing, defense, etc. Then on Thursdays the teams will meet and work on team concepts.
After evaluations, we will draft the teams accordingly and then coaches will draw for a team to coach on game day. Players will be grouped by appropriate age and ability.

Practice will begin on Nov. 14 and games on Dec. 10.
REMAINING PRACTICE TIMES, GAME RULES AND SCHEDULES WILL BE GIVEN OUT AFTER TEAM SELECTIONS.
