I. Grading Values, Interpretations, Quality Points, and Credits (for Honors, Accel. and Comprehensive) Quality Points

Grade Comprehensive Accelerated Honors
A = 94-100 5 6 7
B = 85-93 4 5 6
C = 73-84 3 4 5
D = 65-72 2 3 4
F = 0-64 0 0 0

I = Incomplete (becomes an F if not completed within specified time)


II. Grading Values, Interpretations, Quality Points, and Credits (for AP and IB)

Quality Points (AP and IB Grading Scale)

A = 90-100 --- 7

B = 80-89 --- 6

C = 70-79 --- 5

D = 60-69 --- 4

F = 0-59 --- 0

I = Incomplete (becomes an F if not completed within specified time)

Each full-year course is assigned 1 credit.

All semester courses are assigned 1/2 credit.

II. GPA (Grade Point Average)

A four-point scale is used to determine GPA: A=4; B=3; C=2; D=1; F or I =0

Grade point average will be figured on total number of classes taken (excluding study hall).

Final GPA is computed at the end of the senior year.

III. Class rank will be determined by weighted GPAat the end of the senior year. Weighted GPA will be used to establish rank in class. The person having the highest weighted gpa will be considered RANK 1 in his/her class, 2nd highest, 2nd in the class, etc. A study hall will not affect the class rank.
