Good afternoon,

For the third year, Apollo will be the site for one of six artshops in the state of KY.  It will be held on Saturday, Dec 1 from 9:30-4:00 p.m. in several areas of our building.  The FREE artshop will provide high school freshmen, sophomores, & juniors with the chance to spend a day at our facility in a hands-on arts enrichment opportunity.  Students that have registered (www.kentuckygsa.org) will be able to participate in one of a variety of disciplines led by our region’s most outstanding teaching artists.  Students also learn about the GSA summer program, audition and application procedures.  The art disciplines are architecture, creative writing, dance, drama, instrumental music, musical theatre, new media (new in 2008), visual art, and vocal music.

The following rooms will be used (as in the past):  Library, commons area, auditorium, room 110 & 101, band room, choir room, room 108 & 109, room 317, and the new gym.
