A Brief Study of Mythology

You will first visit this linked page. 

 

Then, you will choose five of the mentioned mythological characters to read a little more about .  After following the links to learn more about those characters, you will create some sort of presentation (it may be PowerPoint, poster board, web site, etc.) to briefly present EACH of the characters (20 points).

 

Next, you will choose ONE of the characters you have briefly studied and read a few of the short stories about them.  You will find these stories by searching on the web. 

 

Finally, select ONE of those stories and create a children’s story  based on the mythological story (80 points). 

 

The final product will be based on creativity, accuracy to story, knowledge of audience, language, pictures, etc.  Please do your BEST.

 

NOTE:  I have some blank, hardback books in my room that you may have for this project.  They are $1.00 each.
