Pulitzer Prize Winners

Welcome to the last WebQuest of the year.  On this WebQuest you will explore some of the best literature the world has to offer.  You will present your newfound knowledge on May 10th or 11th (whichever is your last day of this class).  You MUST have some kind of visual—a PowerPoint, poster board, etc.  Make sure you answer all of the following questions for your presentation:

 

What is the Pulitzer Prize?  Explain the history?

Who are some of the winners?  Choose on person and present their biographical information.

For what piece of literature did he/she win the Pulitzer?  What year?

Why did that piece of literature win? 

Explain the major themes of the piece of literature they wrote. 

Read the literature and print out a copy to present to the class.  You must be able to summarize it so make sure you are comfortable with it BEFORE coming to class.
