It’s time to study literature that will teach you about the rest of our world!

Overview

This webquest centers around seventeen excellent multicultural short stories all compiled in one book.  The various authors have won many awards for their celebrated works.   The seventeen short stories are divided into five sections, classifying each section of stories under a specific theme.

There are tasks to complete associated with each set of stories and its respective theme.  The tasks include vocabulary practice, reading comprehension exercises, cultural comparisons, and author studies. 

After the completion of the tasks, students must work in groups for a culminating task related to the study of the literature and other related aspects of one of the cultures related to the short story collection.  Groups must then prepare a presentation of their findings.
