15 individual tasks: Each task will be scored on the following basis:
Completion-all parts of the task answered {4 pts.} some of the task is answered {2 pts.} none of the task is answered {0 pts.}
Accuracy-answer must be relevant and supported {4 pts.} answer is relevant but not supported {2 pts.} answer neither relevant nor supported {0 pts.}
Effort- evidence of sufficient effort {2 pts} there is evidence of some effort {1 pt.} little of no evidence of effort {0 pts.}
Total = 10 points each Overall possible total for individual tasks = 150 points |

Your webquests will be scored by the following assessment guidelines: |

Group Task: The group task will be scored on the following basis:
Visual– must have a distinct, appropriate visual {25 pts} Good visual, appropriate, but ordinary {15 pts.} Poor visual, unappealing or inappropriate {5 pts.} No visual included in presentation {0 pts.}
Creativity- must strive for originality; have an interesting and attractive presentation for the class {25 pts} Somewhat creative, but not original {15 pts.} Very little creativity evident {5 pts.} Nothing creative in presentation {0 pts.}
Accuracy- conclusions must be relevant and supported throughout the presentation {25 pts.} Most information is accurate, but support is often lacking for conclusions {15 pts.} Very little accuracy, little support {5 pts.} Presentation is inaccurate {0 pts.}
Effort- must be strong evidence of sufficient effort exhibited by all members of the group {25 pts.} Some evidence of effort by some members of the group {15 pts.} Very little evidence of real effort by most group members {5 pts} Little or not evidence of effort by group {0 pts}
Total= 100 points Overall possible score for webquest = 250 points |
