Currently we are considered to be in an energy crisis.  Fossil fuels, one of the main sources for producing electricity, are non-renewable and are running out.  They also cause pollution to our environment and are becoming a hot topic in today’s news.  Global warming is an issue that is often discussed in the world of Science, the news,  and even in politics.  With increasing concern, America is starting  to try to find alternative sources of energy to prevent these problems.  Today I want you to research alternative sources of energy by completing a web quest.  You will have to use the Internet as a tool to answer several questions about the problems that face us today and how we can prevent these problems in the future.   Then you must compose a PowerPoint presentation organizing your information.  Next class, you will present your information.
